Care Ministries
Celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles and the Christ-centered twelve steps. Recovery is available from the hurt, hang-up or habit that is interfering with your relationship with God or others.
We open the door to healing by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems.
We meet Friday nights. Dinner is served at 6:15 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm.

Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral counseling differs from secular or even Christian counseling as it is done exclusively by pastors within the context and under the care of a local church. Pastoral counselors are the only counselors who are trained in the fields of psychology, theology, biblical studies, ethics and church history, thereby providing pastoral counselors a unique, “holistic” perspective on those seeking help.
Pastoral counseling is the process of helping another person to bring their woundedness, struggles, doubts, fears, and anxieties into a dynamic healing contact with the God who is known by His people as being the “Wonderful Counselor.” Neighborhood Church provides free pastoral counseling for families or individuals.
To make an appointment with Care Ministries, call the church office at 530.221.5683, or email. When needed, referrals may be made to approved, qualified counselors.
