Missions
Peter Kopp, missionary to Swaziland, Africa, will speak about his work with African Leadership Partners on Saturday, Sept 18, 7 p.m. in room 138. Peter has been serving in Swaziland for over 20 years teaching pastors and developing programs to provide for the tens of thousands of AIDS orphans in Swaziland. Prior to going to Africa, Peter and his wife, Mary Jean, attended Neighborhood Church and Peter served on the Board of Elders.
 
WEBS.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study (for women) will start up Wednesday, Sept. 29, 7 p.m. They will begin with a 6-week DVD study by various well-known Bible teachers followed by discussion. Drop your kids off for youth group and join the study.  Contact: Sandy: 222.2592.
 
Alliance Women
This igroup of women supporting missions has their monthly meeting Monday, Sept 13, 7 p.m. in room 138. Come learn about the history of Alliance missions and martyrs.
 
Stephen's Ministry: New Training Schedule
 
Stephen's Ministry trains everyday people to become equipped care givers for people in need of encouragement. This year's sign-ups will be in November and December and the 26-week training will begin just after the New Year.  Email: Bruce Becker for more details,
 
 
GPS Adventures: September 13
God's Preschoolers will have a play day on Monday, September 13 at River Crest Park in Redding, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Bring lunches, sunblock, and lots of energy to play. Directions to River Crest Park: From I-5, exit South Bonneyview, head west. Turn right on Bechelli, turn right on River Crest Parkway, then left on Chinook. The Bridge: single parent ministry
Single parent families are not half a family.  Single parents don't have kids growing up in a broken family. A single parent family is a whole family experiencing brokenness. Bridge's mission is to become the bridge for single parents and their children, enabling them to find hope, community and healing in Christ.
